last week in text.

monday = council meeting + ARP + mac's + MPS
tuesday/wednesday/thursday seem to be a bit of a hazy blur, but somehow included ARP, a late lunch with camille, going back home for lunch. friday and saturday were council selection camp. and saturday afternoon was picking up our new labrador. :D
and here we are on the last week of term/semester/school for the year already. 2009 has somehow slipped by, incredibly fast. well technically theres still over a month of it left but, you know... somehow it feels that the year ends as school closes.
so far this week: a lot of talks, ARPARPARP, MPS, horrible dinner on Monday, 99cents sushi tonight, packing stuff in hostel and in school. just a few more days to progress reports and the start of hols.
it's been some crazy, crazy year.

ambitious reading lists//time to learn how to read again
shanghai, 2008 (?)
from a really amazing show in the dead cold of winter - it was freezing but really beautiful. set outdoors, using a lake and the surrounding trees as backdrops/stage sets. and directed by zhang yimou.
paid a visit to kinokunyia today (night) and picked up 5 titles. plus those books that i hauled last... december?/eoy holidays? and never really got down to reading.
kant, orwell, camus, atwood, ray bradbury, hemmingway, kafka. a little roald dahl to spice up the mix and to further disturb yours truly.
dinner was good chinese food at taka's imperial something something. other than that, yesterday i actually stayed home for a change.
somewhat of a respite from wednesday's running around perhaps? haha. with the getting awesomely drenched in the rain and leading a bunch of kids. all in a good day of fun though.

sooo yesterday: mahjong paper, arguments, people under desks, discussdiscussdiscuss, stuck @ mac's for hours because of the rain... okay maybe 1.5, vivo-ing with cally, late-night present shopping and... macs for dinner.
today being cally's birthday we trooped to this cafe in the middle of the ... CBD and camped there for a few hours nomming, talking about all sorts of strange things like dreams, looking at err XXX magazines and so on. earlier on met divya and camille to chiong stuff at city hall as per our usual fashion. ... no actually our usual fashion is not to give? haha. and saw heather there before. and then we all train-ed back. tada. home pretty early for once in a long time i think.
so... happy birthday cally. have fun in japan. old liao.
